Reading for the long weekend

If I will be lucky enough to find a copy of The 2009 TIME 100: The World’s Most Influential People here in Freiburg, then it might keep me preoccupied for the long weekend.  Sorry Vatn and institutional economics!

Manny Pacquiao is the only Pinoy who made it to the list.  It is populated by Americans yet what I find more interesting are the popular authors who write for the featured ‘person.’  There’s Gordon Brown written by J.K. Rowling, Barack Obama by Gordon Brown, and T. Boone Pickens by Ted Turner and vice versa.  You get the drift.  Who knows if they actually wrote them or to what extent Time edited their pieces.  Below is a video of M.I.A. who made it under artists and entertainers.

Be inspired or simply read.  I should get a complimentary copy from Time for this plug.
