  1. Hello Andrew,
Thanks so much for the blog and taking time out of busy schedule to read and answer extremely helpfully questions.
I need some guidance as I don’t have much experience, just an internship program i completed last year and some voluntary work i have done, all under accounting and finance.
Am ugandan by nationality. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Business Entrepreneurship that i completed in Malaysia and currently pursing my certification as a chartered accountant under ACCA.
From my educational background, do think i stand chance of getting into the JPA program? Or do i need to have relevant work experience from a reputable instuition/company?
Also, can i please email you my CV for review.
Thank again for your time. Am looking forward to your reply.

  2. hi Andrew,
Congratulations for having a worthy cause, and concern for global climate change bring-abouts. I think this is one crucial topic for a National Congress in the Philippines for academicians. When are you coming home? I can organize one and share your ideas on this.
Love and warm regards… Tiya ( Helen Dellosa Caparas)

    1. Hi Hermz,

Good luck!

  5. Hey Jan,

Wow! NEDAn ka rin pala! Im with the Regional Development Coordination Staff but before that I was with Ayala Foundation and DENR.

I just sent my application to the MEG Programme. They just sent me an email confirming that they received my documents.

I really think that the MEG programme is apt especially to a climate vulnerable country like ours. The recent typhoons just show how exposed we are to climate variability. I really really really hope I get in the MEG programme and apply what I learned to our country.

    1. Yes, I was a NEDAn. You might start having second thoughts about climate change after you’ve taken some module of the MEG programme 😉 Anyhow, I wish you all the best and I hope you get accepted in the programme!
